Smart Energy for All: A Local Government Approach
The EITEL (Smart Energy for All: A Local Government Approach) state project is an R&D&I initiative led by researchers at Carlos III University of Madrid. The project aims to integrate smart technologies so that government agencies and municipalities can manage energy more efficiently, reduce consumption, and promote sustainability. It uses real-time data monitoring (such as temperature and humidity) to identify and address thermal vulnerability in homes.
It has the institutional support of Spain’s Ministry of Digital Transformation and Public Administration. The project is registered on the UC3M Research Portal for technical consultation.
